What we use
| Name | Set by | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
amber-analytics-consent (stored in your browser, not a cookie) | Us | Remembers your answer to the analytics question, so we do not ask on every page. Strictly necessary. | 12 months, then we ask again |
_ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Count visits and show how people use the website. Only set if you choose “Allow analytics”. | Up to 2 years |
Until you choose “Allow analytics”, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all. We have turned off Google’s advertising features. Google’s own use of this data is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your answer. Choosing “No thanks” removes Google Analytics’ cookies from this website. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
